fame), you need a wow-worthy costume to match. We’d say Disney nailed
it. And there’s so much for the fashion aficionado to love, too! From
the intricately detailed collars to the hauntingly beautiful jewelry,
Maleficent’s modern look is a brilliant marriage of fantasy and couture.

Rob Goodwin was one of three specialists brought in to work on the
Maleficent costume. “We were there to really give it a harder edge, sort
of couture look,” Goodwin says. “We wanted to steer away from some of
the clichés that you can sometimes get in fantasy films, and make her
attractive, yet scary and relevant.”

The story of "Cinderella" follows the fortunes of young Ella whose merchant father remarries following the tragic death of her mother. the harmony of the land. Maleficent rises to be the land’s fiercest
protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal—an act that
begins to turn her pure heart to stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent
faces an epic battle with the invading king’s successor and, as a
result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child
grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the
kingdom—and perhaps to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.
